EXECUTIVE BOARD
Susan M. Jacob, Ph.D.
Executive Director
Dr. Jacob maintains specializations in both child development and the
treatment of chemical dependency, which aid her in developing the specialized
training programs for Coastal's therapists. Dr. Jacob's abilities have
been recognized by her appointment to the Orange County Board of Supervisor's
Drug and Alcohol Advisory Committee, as well as her membership in the
Orange County Board of Education Advisory Committee on Alcohol, Drugs
and Tobacco. In addition to Dr. Jacob's unique qualifications, Coastal
is certified by the State of California to treat and prevent chemical
dependency. Coastal is also approved by the Orange County Juvenile and
Adult Probation Departments to provide anger management and substance
abuse services.
Coastal's board and staff are both reflective
of the communities served. The staff and board have been developed specifically
to provide the services described in Coastal's programs and to ensure
program success.
